What To Expect
If you’ve never used our Home Boarding service before, we will encourage you to come for a short ‘meet & greet’ visit with us before you plan to go away. This way, your pet can familiarize themselves with the environment in advance.
During this first visit, we’ll go through the paperwork with you. You can complete everything whilst you’re here, or take the forms away to fill in at your convenience.
The Home Boarding Experience
Your dog will become part of our family for the duration of the time you are away. They will eat, exercise and relax with us and our little family of dogs. They will have the run of our home, as our own dogs do!
Obviously, there are some dogs who need a little extra consideration, and we will tailor their stay with us to meet these needs. We don’t usually use kennels unless your dog is specifically crate-trained, in which case we may ask you to bring your dog’s own crate for extra reassurance for them. We will ask you to provide their food for the stay.
Special Requirements
If your dog has any special requirements, such as medication, prescribed exercises (physio), special diet or any behavioral needs, we will discuss these fully with you. We understand that each dog has a very specific personality, and you can rest assured that your dog is in safe hands. We will make sure that we can accommodate any needs before confirming your booking.
Our Rates
Our usual rate for home boarding is from £15 per day. This is from 8.30am to 6pm.
If your dog will be staying with us overnight, the rate is from £20 per day.
Assurances
We are members of the Buy With Confidence Scheme, and have rigorously checked by Dorset Trading Standards. We are fully Police CRB checked.
We are also Animal Welfare licensed Home Boarders (DEFRA) with a 5 star-rating.
